Announcing the Stella Maris Wine & Craft Spirits Tasting, April 22

Web Evite_2017 (1)Our annual Wine Tasting & Auction has become one of our most successful and important fund raising events to benefit the needs of those long term care residents who call Stella Maris home.  The 2017 event is being rebranded as the Stella Maris Wine & Craft Spirits Tasting and will take place Saturday, April 22 from 7-10 p.m. at the Grand Lodge in Hunt Valley Maryland. 

This sophisticated, yet casually elegant evening will offer more than 100 wines and spirits to sample and to purchase at discounted prices. Guest will also enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and food stations provided by ROUGE Fine Catering, music from the Cold Spring Jazz Quartet and a small, but selective auction.

The auction is going mobile and will be available to preview and bid electronically. Bidding will open on April 7, before the event, and close the evening of April 22nd. You do not need to be present to bid ON THE AUCTION. Register with Handbid to view the auction and place your bids from home.  

You do not need to be present to win this year’s Smyth raffle. Buy your tickets now for a $1,000 Shopping Spree compliments of Smyth Jewelers in Timonium, Maryland.  Raffle tickets will be on sale at Stella Maris April 7-19, and the winner will be chosen at the event on April 22nd. Chances to win are one for $10; three for $25 and a pre-event special of 10 for $50 (at the event, only eight chances for $50).

You also do not need to be present to get some great wine & spirits at great prices! The list will be available here and at Stella Maris on April 7th.  Orders, with payment, must be received at Stella Maris by April 20th. Besides being a Corporate Benefit Sponsor, Cranbrook Liquors also makes a donation for every bottle of alcohol purchased. Your alcohol purchases will be available for pick up at Cranbrook Liquors between April 28 and May 6, 2017. Please call the store ahead of arriving at 410-666-8248 so that your order will be ready when you arrive.
