Baltimore Humane Society Pet Memorial Sunday Ceremony

Grieving the loss of you pet? Join us on Sunday, September 13th.

On Sunday, September 13th at 11a.m., the Baltimore Humane Society Memorial Park will hold a free public memorial ceremony in observance of National Pet Memorial Day. The ceremony is for anyone who has experienced the loss of a beloved pet, no matter when or where the loss occurred. All our pets create lasting memories. This ceremony will be an opportunity to remember and celebrate those loving bonds. You do NOT need to have a pet buried at the Memorial Park or adopted from Baltimore Humane Society to attend.

The Program – Begins at 11 a.mm
~ “The Spiritual and Physical Bond Connection” – Matt Wilson, Baltimore Humane Society Memorial Park Director
~ “Grief Response to Pet Loss”- Carol Williamson Jenkins, Bereavement Counselor, Counseling Center at Stella Maris
~ “Guilt and Euthanasia” – Dr. Ayrika White-Mfoudi, Veterinarian, Peaceful Passage
~ Music by Dulaney Flute Ensemble Members
~ Flowers by Flowers & Fancies

Location: Baltimore Humane Society Memorial Park, 1601 Nicodemus Rd., Reisterstown
